Hi there - while waiting for my husband to reinstall Dungeon Siege so we can trya nd play head to head, we are seeing if you type in a link if it woks. Here's Chrissie's web site as a test: www.chrissierocks.com. By the way, Melo says hi. She is just the cutest dog - she's helping me type this blog, just sitting sweetly on my lap and occassionally giving me sweet puppy kisses. There is definitely a reason why d-o-g spelled backwards is g-o-d - they are little angels!

It’s been a while - but so much has happened. Not in any order of importance: I finished my trial brief. Due to the fact that this is a public blog, the only thing I will say about work is that it gets in the way of life. From the Yahoo report on the superbowl, it doesn't seem I missed too much excitement with the superbowl, but I would like to have seen Jerry Rice's team win. More importantly, I would have liked to have spent the day with my hubby at home. Crazy schedules - I just got back after 8.5 hours at work, and he's over helping a coworker with his computer. I've started on a new quilting project (and no, I haven't finished the other ones yet). This is a Valentine's Day hanging using 2 of the 'bleeding heart' quilt of the month squares I picked up on super clearance at Joann's. The pieces were already cut, and each block cost less than the fat quarter used to back it. I think they are cut, and although my sewing was exactly accurate, it will likely pass the 25-mile per hour rule. Biggest news is that my best friend Chrissie is pregnant - TOTALLY EXCITED!!! It is so cool - her stomach is starting to show and she is glowing. So far, the report is mainly tired and hot all the time. Her anticipated due date is 8/3 or 8/4 and they have a girl's name picked out (Abigail) but no boy's name selections yet. They are going to find out the sex, which is so cool - now I won't have to hedge my bets with greens and yellows. I am so excited for Kev and Chrissie!!! Okay, I've got to unwind so I think I will go work on the Valentine's Day quilt hanging til Josh gets home!
